When you think of skateboarding in Los Angeles, spots like Downtown, Hollywood, or even Venice/Santa Monica probably come to mind first. That list goes on, but I guess my point is, a neighborhood like Koreatown might not be on the top of it.
Well, young gun, Cole Gossett is here to remind us all that Koreatown is definitely worth the stop, and proves that K-Town has some bangin’ spots in his latest night mission for OJ Wheels. Who doesn’t love night footage? Take a look:

Cole clocked into the evening shift for this edit, which I think is super rad. He tears through the glowing streets of Koreatown’s bustling nightlife and finds more than a few hidden gems along way.
It might just be a classic two-minute edit, but it packs a serious punch, if you ask me. Proper manual maneuvers. Some wildly creative handrail moves. Pole jams. Bump-to-this-and-thats. It’s all there and it’s all rad. Cole’s eye for unique spots is on full display here, and if you were unfamiliar with this hungry up-and-comer, consider this your formal introduction.

Again, it’s refreshing to see a skater venture just a little outside the “usual zones” of a skate-heavy city like LA. There are always cutty little gems hiding in plain sight, you just have to have an open mind and do some searching.
In fact, next time you’re cruising around Downtown LA, maybe think about inching a little westward into K-Town. I’ll certainly do the same. There’s clearly a whole world of potential waiting. Plus, when you’re done, you can always hit one of Koreatown’s legendary Korean BBQ spots for some post-sesh grub.
What else is there to say? Hit your local skateshop and go buy some OJs. Then get out there and get rad! That’s that.
