2025 is shaping up to be another strong year for Nike SB, especially when it comes to the ever-hyped Dunk Low. From unexpected collabs to clean in-house colorways, there’s been no shortage of stuff to talk about, that’s for sure. And just think—we’re barely in June! We rounded up seven of our favorite Nike SB Dunk Low drops of the year so far either way. No particular order as always! What are your favs? Let’s dive in.
1. Nike SB Dunk Low Pro CSEF
Since launching in 2017, the College Skateboarding Educational Foundation (CSEF) has been quietly, powerfully redefining what it means to succeed in skateboarding. The fact that they got their own Dunk was obviously no small feat, and this shoe might be the most meaningful one on this list, depending on who you ask. Want to learn even more about CSEF? 2. Nike SB Dunk Low Pro Hayley Wilson
The most recent drop on the list, the Hayley Wilson Nike SB Dunk Low Pro is currently the talk of the town. The attention to detail on these is super impressive. There are so many subtle little designs peppered into these. And the fact that they come wrapped in a blind bag only adds to the hype. Hayley rips and these kicks are well-deserved! Maybe your local still has a pair!? Maybe not.

3. Nike SB Dunk Low Pro Aluminum
The Nike SB Dunk Low Pro ‘Aluminum’ colorway was super easy on the eyes when it first dropped. These are definitely made to skate, you know? Not too flashy, no crazy textures or materials. Just a solid skate shoe! Releases like this are just another reason 2025 has started off with such a bang. The Dunk hype is as alive as ever and we’re here for it. Support your local skateshop!

4. Nike SB Dunk Low Pro Yuto Horigome Matcha
Say what you want, but the Yuto Horigome’s Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Matcha’ colorway is super clean with those subtle green and cream tones. In fact, I’m still curious if matcha sales spiked when these dropped! Just kidding. But also, I’m not. Jokes aside, if Yuto puts his name on something, you know it’s built to last. These things moved quickly! Definitely one of the more highly anticipated drops this year so far.

5. Nike SB Dunk Low Pro Riot Skateshop
Back in January, the Swoosh teamed up with Bordeaux’s own Riot Skate Shop for a ripping collaboration that certainly turned some heads. We witnessed plenty of wild Dunk releases in 2024, and if there’s one thing we learned, it’s that the bolder usually means the better. (Well, most of the time.) That said, this colorway felt like a refreshing palette cleanser. Are those wine-inspired shades I see? Yep! Regardless, it was the perfect way to kick off the new year in style.

6. Nike SB Dunk Low Pro B Parachute Beige
These shoes have a lot of history, so I’m just going to pass the mic for this one: “Introduced in 1999, the Dunk Low Pro B featured a padded mesh tongue, elastic straps and additional padding, offering enhanced support for skaters,” The Swoosh mentions. “Its popularity soared among sneaker enthusiasts, leading to the evolution of the Dunk Low Pro B into the SB Dunk Low we know today, marking the beginning of the Sandy Bodecker-led Nike SB line.”

7. Nike SB Dunk Low Pro Rodeo
Like most Nike SB Dunk Lows, the Rodeo Dunks weren’t just a random colorway with a theme tacked on—they came with a story. And honestly, it begged the question: What’s the real inspiration behind the design? I’ll let Nike SB explain:
“A longstanding staple of the American West, rodeo’s roots date back to the 1800s,” Nike SB mentioned on Instagram. “Among the pioneers of what would become an iconic American spectator sport, Black ranch owners and hands changed the face of rodeo with groundbreaking riding and roping techniques and crowd-pleasing flair throughout the 1900s.”
