Ever Seen a Half Cab Like This? Vans Reimagines the Iconic Skate Shoe in Rugged OTW Trail Pack

Does this new Vans OTW Trail Pack have anything to do with skateboarding? Well, in fairness, you could say no. But at the same time, yes, of course it does. Even if it’s just because it was inspired by some of skateboarding’s most classic shoes. 

The iconic Half Cab. The timeless Old Skool. We’re seeing hints of these and more in this upcoming Vans OTW collection, set to drop tomorrow, June 18. Take a look:

“The OTW Trail Pack reworks classic Vans silhouettes through an outdoor lens,” Vans OTW mentioned on Instagram. “Grounded in our Vibram Waffle outsole and constructed for movement, grip, and motion.”

These are definitely not being made for skateboarders, but with that said, have you ever seen hiking shoes? Or hiking boots? I mean, they usually aren’t the coolest looking kicks. So maybe this pack offers the best of both worlds?
