Sean Kelling had more photos on the Brooklyn Banks than most back in the heady days of the 1990s. Massive pop, Hawaiian stylin’, and he rolled with NYC’s cream of the crop. Sean worked for skateshops in New York, rode for Rookie and eventually moved out West and opened a skateshop of his own. In Encinitas, California, Sean settled on the name Rose Street Skateshop as an homage to The Brooklyn Banks—a spot he thought he’d never see skateboarders roll on again.
