A plane has crashed on Vancouver Island leaving no survivors, according to Nanaimo RCMP.
Police did not confirm the number of people in the plane in a news release Thursday.
The plane crashed in a wooded area near Twilight Way in Nanaimo, according to the release.
Police say the plane was in a large debris field.
Officers are on the scene investigating.
