Reality, Not Ondo, Powers The New Rollout
There is one useful distinction here.
Bitget Wallet already supports tokenized assets through providers such as Ondo and xStocks.
The new 1,700-plus asset expansion is specifically powered by Reality.
That matters because tokenized-stock coverage can vary significantly depending on the issuer and underlying legal structure.
Not every “tokenized stock” product works the same way.
Users still need to understand what claim the token actually represents.
Self-Custody Is Becoming A Trading Interface
Wallets used to be fairly boring pieces of infrastructure.
They stored keys and moved tokens.
Now they are becoming full financial interfaces.
Swaps, staking, lending, tokenized stocks and payments increasingly sit inside the same application.
That gives wallet providers a direct relationship with users that exchanges once dominated.
It also makes regulatory boundaries more complicated.
Bitget’s tokenized-equity feature is restricted in the United States, reflecting the fact that synthetic or tokenized exposure to U.S. securities remains tightly regulated.
Outside those markets, though, the trend is accelerating.
