A small plane made an emergency landing on Highway 1 between Banff and Lake Louise Tuesday afternoon.
CBC News received a video of the incident. It shows a small propeller plane landing on the opposite side of the highway from the vehicle filming the incident. No other vehicles can be seen near the plane as it lands.
Parks Canada and the Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) confirmed they are aware of the incident.
The TSB says no injuries were reported, and there was no damage to the plane. It says it appears the plane experienced an engine or power issue before landing.
The agency plans to speak with the pilot, but says it will not be sending an investigator to the scene.
