The idea is straightforward.

The announcement does not mean the United Nations is replacing its payment systems with USDC.
It does mean regulated stablecoins are moving into another serious trial environment.
If they can reduce the cost and delay involved in getting aid to recipients, that is a much more consequential use case than making crypto trading faster.
