A Saskatoon man charged with publicly inciting hatred is facing two new charges: wilfully promoting hatred and wilfully promoting antisemitism by condoning, denying or downplaying the Holocaust.

Brandon Taylor Moore, 45, was in Saskatoon provincial court on Tuesday, where the Crown presented the new charges.

He was first charged in December, after police investigated complaints about antisemitic comments online. He is also charged with unsafe storage of a firearm, after police said they seized a firearm from his home.

After his arrest, Moore was released from custody on Dec. 18, 2025, on conditions that include a ban on publishing or posting anything on the Internet or social media, and staying outside a one-block radius of any Jewish community centre.

The Jewish organization B’Nai Brith Canada welcomed his arrest and charges, calling his posts online “truly horrific” and “some of the most virulent antisemitism we have ever seen at our organization.”

Moore’s account on X is still online, although it doesn’t appear he has made any new posts since Dec. 17, 2025. Prior to that date, it contained daily posts about Jewish people, referencing conspiracy theories and questioning the Holocaust.

The account has changed the pinned post (the post that’s featured at the top of the page) to one that’s dated May 21, 2025, in which Moore claimed that “Jews have: sent legal letters threatening me; attacked my family on social media; attacked me through my business partners and regulatory body that governs my profession; had me ‘permanently banned’ on X. Do you know what they haven’t done? Proved me wrong.”

Moore used to be a real estate agent, but his registration to trade in real estate in Saskatchewan was terminated by his brokerage on May 23, 2024, the Saskatchewan Real Estate Commission said in a statement.

On Tuesday, Moore’s lawyer withdrew from the file, meaning that Moore is now self-represented. He received instructions from the judge about how to access the disclosure — the evidence the Crown will use in its case — on his file.

Judge Jane Wootten explained to Moore that he must sign what’s called a Muirhead order, where he promises to keep the disclosure private, not copy it or upload it, and ultimately return it to the Crown.

“Make sure you take care of it,” the judge said.

“I will,” Moore replied.

As he left the courthouse, Moore declined to comment.

He is scheduled to return to court on Feb. 24.
