McGlone believes that Bitcoin is no longer a hedge against the system. With the rise of Bitcoin ETFs and low volatility, Bitcoin will likely face the same fate as stocks and commodities. McGlone also goes on to state in the same interview that he expects stocks, commodities, and metals to struggle in 2026.
Bitcoin has traditionally been considered the best crypto to buy because it was the largest. However, that could be what is working against it right now. Most technical indicators point to a downward trend for the asset. The 50-day SMA is currently at $89,980, and the 50-day EMA is at $91,123.
