Hannah, 31, finished behind Swiss winner Fanny Smith in the women’s big final, beating out Italy’s Jole Galli for the second spot on the podium.

Former Olympic and world champion Marielle Thompson of Whistler, B.C., finished 10th.

Hannah has five top-five finishes this season and is seventh in the World Cup standings, holding 473 points with three races remaining. Thompson is 12th with 292.

The women’s field is currently dominated by Sweden’s Sandra Naeslund, who holds a commanding lead with 768 points.

The 33-year-old Smith won last season’s overall Crystal Globe and recently took silver in women’s ski cross at the Milano-Cortina Olympics.

Jared followed up his older sister’s result by racing to the men’s silver for his first medal of the season.

France’s Youri Duplessis-Kergomard captured gold and Sweden’s David Mobaerg took bronze.

Men’s World Cup leader Reece Howden of Chilliwack, B.C., missed a chance to clinch his second straight Crystal Globe and fourth of his career after finishing ninth. The 27-year-old has 872 points — 264 more than second-ranked Italian Simone Deromedis, who took gold at Milano Cortina.

Jared, who sits seventh in the standings with 373 points, last reached the podium in February 2025 with bronze in Veysonnaz, Switzerland.

Another race is scheduled for Sunday in Craigleith, with live coverage available on CBCSports.ca and CBC Gem starting at 11:30 a.m. ET.

The World Cup finals are scheduled for March 28-29 in Idre Fjäll, Sweden.
