OTW by Vans is officially linking up with FTP for their first-ever collaboration, and they’re kicking things off with two undeniable classics: the Old Skool 36 and the Authentic 44. Dropping May 9, these things are bound to move fast! Get your first look here:
Founded in 2010, FTP says they were “born out of a desire to rebel, think freely, and unapologetically be yourself.” So, if you ask me, teaming up with OTW by Vans makes a lot of sense. Both parties share that desire to push boundaries and think outside the box, and both of these shoes prove that.

“The Authentic 44 and Old Skool 36 are both premium footwear collaborations that showcase unique detailing and high quality materials,” Vans mentions.
“The Authentic 44 features a blend of suede and cotton canvas on the upper, with Vans’ iconic checkerboard pattern on the quarters. The shoe incorporates FTP logos throughout, with the FTP repeat print appearing on the sidewall, beneath the crystal rubber outsole, and on the secondary laces.”
As far as the Old Skool 36, it also “combines suede and premium leather but adds a reflective sidestripe for a dynamic look,” Vans mentions. Tacking on: “Reflective FTP detailing appears on the tongue and heel counter, with the FTP repeat print again visible beneath the crystal rubber outsole and on the reflective secondary laces.”

“I grew up in the Crenshaw area of Los Angeles with my mom. Anytime she was looking for school shoes that worked for me, it was always Vans. Since starting FTP back in 2010 during high school, I’ve always dreamed of doing a collaboration with them,” says Zac Clark, founder of FTP.
“This project really feels like a full circle moment — a dream come true. I just wish Keith Hufnagel, my mentor, was here to see it. He was one of the first people to believe in me and help open doors in the industry. I hope my journey shows that if you believe in yourself and keep going, you really can do anything.”
