Chris Pfanner has always been one of my favs. Longtime Vans rider, Antihero pro, one of the best Team Managers (I’m just assuming) in the game—the dude rips.

Honestly, if you ask me, the skate world needs more people like Chris. He’s genuine, always down to give back, but he also keeps his foot on the gas when it’s time to rip. I’ve been a huge fan for years, and every time a new clip, part, or interview drops, it’s a solid reminder of how much this guy brings to the table.
Seeing him make that slow transition from strictly pro skating to his position as a TM has been super rad, too. Who better than Pfanner to take on that role? No debate.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, but I love these Route One interviews. Feels like you’re just drinking a pint with your friend and playing a little catch up. It’s rad.
