Prime Day 2025 is here from Tuesday, July 8 to Friday, July 11, and Lifehacker is sharing the best sales based on product reviews, comparisons, and price-tracking tools across Amazon and its biggest competitors.

  • Follow our live blog to stay up to date on the best sales we find.

  • Browse our editors’ picks for a curated list of our favorite sales on laptops, fitness tech, appliances, and more.

  • Subscribe to our shopping newsletter, Add to Cart, for the best sales sent to your inbox.

New to Prime Day? We have a primer on everything you need to know. Sales are accurate at the time of publication, but prices and inventory are always subject to change.

If you’re looking for a cute fitness-focused smartwatch at a great price, Garmin’s Venu Sq 2 is on sale for just $149.99 during Walmart’s own version of Prime Day. (I saw the same price earlier at Amazon, but as of this writing, Amazon no longer has that price.)

The Venu Sq 2 was released in 2022, retailing at $249.99, and has been a favorite of former Fitbit users who want a square watch with fitness-focused features and an excellent battery life. The Venu Sq 2 lasts up to 11 days on a charge. (The Apple Watch SE would be another option, and it’s on sale for $169.99 today, but you’d need to charge it daily.)

The Venu Sq 2 can track activities and sleep. It has its own GPS built in, unlike some cheaper trackers from other brands. It has apps for tracking your hydration and monthly cycles, and it can receive notifications from either an Android or Apple phone.

If you want something newer and fancier, Garmin has a Venu 3, which is round instead of square, and which can do voice calls and texts. It adds an altimeter, ECG readings, and music storage, to name a few. The Venu 3 and 3S are also on sale today, going for $399.99, down from an original price of $449.99.

Looking for something else? Retailers like Walmart, Best Buy, and Home Depot have Prime Day competition sales that are especially useful if you don’t have Amazon Prime.

  • Walmart’s Prime Day competition sale begins at midnight on July 8 and will include deals up to 50% off. It’s an especially good option if you have Walmart+.

  • Best Buy’s Prime Day competition sale, “Black Friday in July,” runs through Sunday, July 13 and has some of the best tech sales online. It’s an especially good option if you’re a My Best Buy “Plus” or “Total” member.

Home Depot extended its 4th of July sale through at least July 9, competing with some amazing deals of its own. It’s an especially good option if you’re looking for power tools, appliances, or outdoor equipment.
