The free concert series, suitable for audience members ages six and up, comes via the support of the Edwards Charitable Foundation, and RTH’s community of education and community engagement donors.

The concerts take place December 19, 2025, February 10, 2026, April 2, 2026, and June 1, 2026.

Please note the schedule for each date:

Orpheus Choir of Toronto: Merry & Bright (Friday, December 19, 2025)

Orpheus Choir was formed by organist John Sidgwick in 1964 as an alternative to the typical choir of the mid-1960s. The choir is now celebrating its 60th anniversary, and has been led by artistic director Thomas Burton since 2023. The choir has developed a reputation over the decades for performances of both sacred and secular works from the Renaissance to the 21st century. Their repertoire includes classical and experimental works, and the choir has often introduced Toronto audiences to lesser known composers and music.

Exultate Chamber Singers: Home in the Six (Tuesday, February 10, 2026)

Based in downtown Toronto, Exultate Chamber singers is an adult, mixed voice chamber choir with a wide age range, whose members come from varied cultural backgrounds. The choir has won the Healey Willan Grand Prize in the CBC National Radio Competition three times, and took home first place in the chamber choir category of Choral Canada’s 2019 National Competition for Canadian Amateur Choirs. Their most recent album, At First Light, is a showcase of new Canadian choral music the choir has commissioned in recent years.

VIVA Chamber Singers: O Radiant (Thursday, April 2, 2026)

VIVA Chamber Singers is an inclusive family of choirs whose members range in age from four through adult. The not-for-profit choirs offer educational opportunities to its members as well as the gift of singing. VIVA was founded by Carol Woodward Ratzlaff, a long time vocal educator, in 2000 in order to respond to growing cuts to public school arts programs. The choir has commissioned works and created partnerships with many musicians and composers,, and currently works with The National Ballet of Canada. The Toronto Consort, and Trinity-St. Paul’s Centre for Faith, Justice and the Arts. VIVA also has an Associate Choir partnership with the Elmer Iseler Singers and Lydia Adams, C.M.
