Drake fans were treated to a little bit of everything — including several new tracks — when the rapper dropped his much anticipated “not so short film” on Tuesday night.
He described it as such when he teased it on Instagram last week — and he wasn’t lying.
Clocking in at about an hour and livestreamed to YouTube, Spotify and Apple, Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) took viewers for a ride of Drake’s summer escapades and lavish lifestyle.
The film featured Drizzy dancing through his palatial Toronto mansion, kee-keeing with his mom Sandra Graham and her besties, and riding toward the Toronto skyline in his lime-green luxury speedboat.

True to form, the video was peppered with Toronto- and Canada-specific references and Easter eggs, including a scene of Drake striding through the Canadian National Exhibition alongside fellow rapper Loe Shimmy, both decked out in $150,000 Iron Man suits.
The film was packed with star power, featuring guest appearances from SexyyRed, Stunna Sandy, model Winnie Harlow, NBA star Kevin Durant, porn star Lena the Plug and more.
Much like Drake’s ICEMAN livestream four months ago — sections of which he repurposed in a visual album for tracks from his HABIBTI and MAID OF HONOUR albums — FOMO promo’d some new music, including unreleased collaborations with Don Toliver, PartyNextDoor and Yeat.
In all, nine new tracks are peppered throughout the video, including Drake’s highly anticipated remix of Ella Langley’s smash hit Choosin’ Texas.
And if that wasn’t enough of a head rush for Drake fans, at the Toronto premiere of FOMO on Tuesday, the rapper known as “6 God” revealed he’s planning to hit the road again in 2027 for a world tour.
“There are some other things on the horizon, some big shows,” he said, nonchalantly.
Unfortunately for fans who missed Tuesday’s livestream, their fears of missing out became a reality: Drake made the film private on his YouTube page shortly after its debut.
Reaction online from those who did catch it was mixed.
One user on X wrote, “Welp… I can honestly say ya’ll didn’t miss out on ‘FOMO’ if you haven’t seen it yet unless watching Drake dance & looking unserious is your thing.”
Another user gave a far more glowing review, saying the film was “a symbol of longevity and consistency” and “a well deserved pat on the back for his 20 year long career in music.”
Jamaican dancehall artist Spice extended congratulations to her friend on Instagram, posting a video of the pair with a caption which said, in part: “Congratulations @champagnepapi WOW “FOMO” left me speechless. The amount of hardwork, dedication, and passion you’ve poured into fomo is truly remarkable.”

Drake, whose real name is Aubrey Graham, sent fans into a frenzy when he began hinting at his latest rollout last month. He first shared old pictures of his family on Instagram, captioning the carousel “FOMO 2026,” then followed it two weeks later with a picture of a CD cover with the words “Fear of Missing Out.”
The day before the release, the Champagne Papi teased the drop with a grainy image of himself, alongside a lengthy, reflective caption describing the film as “self-funded surrealism”.
He described the video as “a story about making the absolute most of it all in one summer” and shared some “advice” to people before they watched it.
“Nobody is coming to save you,” he said. “You must use each day to decipher who you love and trust and march forward with them.”
He shared his hopes that the video would “serve as motivation to make that call, take that trip, drop that song, open that shop, see your parents, leave that relationship or stay in it forever, spend that bread, get some more, etc.”
He also challenged those who “keep saying our genre is dying” and “nobody is watching nobody is listening.”
“I still care … so be kind and rewind.”
