Aave Looks At A MiCA-Aligned Euro Asset
EURCV brings a different profile from the dollar-denominated stablecoins that dominate DeFi.
The token is issued by SG-FORGE and positioned as a MiCA-compliant euro stablecoin, giving Aave potential access to more euro-denominated borrowing and lending activity.
LlamaRisk has issued conditional support for the listing, with additional verification requirements around the issuer’s security and bug-bounty framework.
That conditional language matters. It means the risk review is not an unconditional green light.
Listing Remains Under Discussion
The proposal is still at the ARFC stage.
EURCV has not yet been added to Aave V4’s Ethereum market as a result of this discussion.
If the listing progresses, it would give Aave another regulated stablecoin option and could help broaden the protocol’s non-dollar liquidity base.
But the current event is governance review, not market activation.
