The iron man streak for Montreal Canadiens captain Nick Suzuki is coming to an end.
After 546 NHL games played, Suzuki will be sidelined for two to four weeks due to an upper-body injury, the team announced Thursday.
The Habs’ captain has never missed an NHL game in his career.
Suzuki is coming off the best season of his career, racking up 101 points in 2025-26 and winning the Selke Trophy as the league’s best defensive forward.
He’s gotten off to a strong start this season, with 12 points in nine games played.
More to come.
